Never assume your children know how you really feel about them.

Never Assume

Never assume your children know how you really feel about them.

As parents we often think, “My kids know I love them and I’m proud of them.” But isn’t it nice to hear that? As adults, we often find ourselves in relationships where communication is a challenge. That challenge comes from assuming the other person knows what we are thinking.

Our children need to be told… and shown… how we feel about them. It doesn’t take much to say, “I love you” to a child. But the impact of those three words can last a lifetime!
